In April 2005, Amerifee/"Fee Plans" formally transitioned to Capital One Healthcare Finance.

In May of 2001, AmeriFee joined Capital One as its newest subsidiary.

In 2001, Family Fee Plan was introduced nationwide. It is the first patient payment plan designed specifically for infertility treatment, and is offered through Reproductive Endocrinologists and Infertility Clinics.

In 2000, Cosmetic Fee Plan was introduced nationwide and became the first low rate payment plan for elective cosmetic surgery. This program is offered through board certified surgeons who perform cosmetic surgery procedures.

In 1999, Vision Fee Plan became the first low rate payment plan for patients seeking laser vision correction/refractive surgery. Like its sister programs, Vision Fee Plan is now the largest patient payment plan in the laser vision correction industry.

In 1998, Dental Fee Plan became the first program offered nationwide to offer a payment plan for larger dental fees. With rapid growth, Dental Fee Plan is now the largest patient payment plan in the dental industry.

In 1993, Orthodontists Fee Plan began providing patient payment plans for orthodontics. More than one out of three orthodontists in the United States now use the program. During 1998 the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the leading professional association for orthodontists, granted OFP its exclusive endorsement after doing a thorough analysis of patient financing programs.
